Halloween 2008: CJ made her own Sacagawea costume. She did all the sewing, beading, and braiding. We had a great time trick-or-treating in Woodland with her friends.

A common occurrence in the mornings -- Bria blocks Dexter with a child gate in the kitchen and reads to him. He actually appears to be enjoying Beowulf!

Guy Fawkes Day celebration, 5th November 2007. CJ memorized the old English rhyme and retells it here. A gorgeous fresh fall day. We had a bonfire and burned Guy Fawkes in effigy and ate Shepard's Pie and peas with homemade parkin for dessert (Sally's Grandmother's recipe). Fun!

New Puppy! Sanctus Dexter "Dex" is a border collie/golden retriever born May 8 2005.
He is a real cutie as you can see!

Playing at Dover Winery near Cambria California ... where the parents can play too! May 2005 while Sally is on a spring term sabbatical.

It's no wonder we have to pull out her passport to get in "under 3 is free" day at the zoo! May 9 2004, in our kitchen, oh, I mean homeschool, Columbia Heights Academy.
