Diethylstilbestrol (DES)
is a drug prescribed to millions of pregnant women primarily from 1938-1971. It was supposed to prevent miscarriages, but it did not work. The women exposed and the children they carried now suffer health consequences including cancer, infertility, and auto-immune disorders. As a family touched by DES exposure, we volunteer with DES Action U.S.A. and have served on its board of directors. Click on the links below to learn more.
